Coverage.

While many all-inclusive resorts and cruise lines include photography coverage, that coverage can often be much shorter than anything we offer—and you may not be guaranteed a professional photographer, to boot. That means that although the person photographing your day is associated with the resort or the cruise line, they may not have the range of equipment, the expertise or the freedom to leave the resort for the best possible shots—and isn’t that a huge part of why you chose this destination?

Lighting.

While “in house” or “on ship” photographers use an arsenal of standard poses and single on-camera flash techniques, we believe the only thing that should be standard about your wedding photos is the standard of excellence we hold ourselves to—and to which you hold us to, as well. We love candid shots that capture the joy of your wedding, and posed shots that reflect the connection you two share. We promise to use available light when possible, and know how to bounce a flash to illuminate a photo evenly—and that means no bleached out ocean views, “deer in headlights” shots or harsh facial shadows in your wedding album. And speaking of albums …

Albums.

We work with you to design your personalized, archival-quality wedding album. While the price of our wedding albums are on par with that all-inclusive resort’s album, ours are created with your input, on your own timeline. Each album is fingerprint-resistant with a wrap-around genuine leather cover and is constructed by a team of artisans to last a lifetime. All wedding album files are archived, should you ever need a backup or duplicate album—and that means peace of mind, for all the years ahead.

Editing.

All too often, resort or cruise ship photographers do not edit their photographs—even though they charge like they do. For us, it’s part of the package…and that makes all the difference. From cropping a photo to enhancing the lighting or saturation and everything in between (goodbye, wedding day pimple!), we’re Photoshop professionals who edit as necessary to ensure your wedding day photographs are everything you dreamed of. And did we mention you get to keep all of the edited images? We don’t have a maximum number of images in our destination wedding packages…so what we shoot and edit, you get to keep. Forever!

Though we’re Connecticut wedding photographers with a studio based in central Connecticut, we love to travel for international weddings and those inside the continental U.S. We do our research and we’re quick on our feet, so we’ll know where the best pictures can be taken and the best time to take them. And, because photography styles and definitions of “romantic” differ depending on where you are in the world, you’ll know exactly what to expect when we photograph your wedding.

When it comes down to it, the amount of hours we put in basically covers the cost of our plane tickets—and because we’re husband and wife, we always share a room! You can rest assured that we will have our own equipment (and backup equipment!), and that we’ll utilize the natural light, architecture and elements of nature to capture the magic and unique elements of your destination wedding.
