Brittany & Wes | Riverhouse

We can’t stress this enough - it’s OK if it rains on your wedding day! We know that it’s not ideal, but it does make for some unique and beautiful photos. In the case of Brittany and Wes, it poured all morning. We worked around the rain for the group shots (as you’ll see below) but they really had their hearts set on taking some photos on the Connecticut River by the East Haddam Bridge. when we saw the tiniest break in the rain, we quickly changed plans, got them into the car and drove down to the river. The shots were nothing less than spectacular! It’s so nice to have a bride and groom so flexible and willing to defer to our expertise.
